Office Assistant III FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Full time 40 hours per week Reports To: Manager Location: Moreno Valley, Administrative Office Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 403b retirement, EAP, Sick, Vacation, Holiday Pay ABOUT FSA Family Service Association has been a leader among non-profits serving families in need since 1953. Our mission is “Building community one family at a time, through compassion, advocacy and comprehensive model services, fostering self-sufficiency and sustainable impacts.” Position Overview Office Assistant handles the organizational and clerical support tasks for all operations department staff. General Responsibilities 1. Handle a variety of clerical support tasks for all operations department staff. 2. Type correspondence, agendas and minutes for administrative staff as needed. 3. Obtain information on Department key events for Agency Internal communications and provide them on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to staff designated for those communication vehicles (agency newsletters, blogs, social media accounts, etc.) as directed. 4. Obtain, sort and distribute incoming mail and process outgoing mail. 5. Provide phone support to Executive Office and other Administrative offices as needed. 6. Maintain the calendar for the large meeting rooms for the building and post the calendars of the daily meetings in those rooms each morning at each meeting room location. 7. Prepare and disperse birthday cards for staff. 8. Answer phones, disperse calls and take messages for all departments as needed. 9. Greet the public/employees when they come in. 10. Provide back up to HR when needed (Phone coverage). 11. Support to Special Events, and Public Relation activities. 12. Ordering and maintaining office supplies. 13. Makes copies and send faxes as needed. 14. Facilitate the credit card purchasing and for FSA program supplies orders. 15. Punctual and Regular Attendance. 16. Other duties as assigned and necessary. Qualifications High School Graduate Type 40 wpm 2 years clerical experience CA Driver’s License & Auto Mobile Insurance Computer literate in Word and Excel Background & Fingerprint Clearance Drug Test Clearance Ability to read and write English and to communicate at the level required for successful performance.

Physical & Mental Demands: Position requires long periods of sitting and computer focused work. Position requires multitasking and coordinating within a fast passed and high change type work environment Position requires periods of time of intensive work such as when supporting special events
